A revolution of pressure

The concept of a new American Revolution is not new, and it is certainly not mine alone. I first heard of the concept from a video by Bob Basso. In it, he calls for a revolution that pressures our non-representing representatives to effect real change, to stop taking advantage of the American citizenry, voting in their own pay raises, and doing just about any other despicable thing you can think of.

This blog has one purpose, to help shed some light on our very broken government. I love this country, and I want, like most of you out there do, our great nation to become great again. We need real representation in the government, and while I do not approve of Barrack Obama and nearly every position upon which he takes, it is Congress that really needs the overhaul. I realize that we just put in a majority of Democrats and that constitutes a change, but I mean "real" change.

We need to get back to a part-time Congress. Where not only the lawyers, doctors, and other white collars sit around and discuss politics and pass bills. A Congress where they actually listen to the people and not the just the rich ones. We need Congresspersons who understand that they work for the people and not the other way around. We do not need a government that "takes care of the people" by making worse the bad situations they created. We do not need a government that "takes care of people" by stealing from the not-so-wealthy and giving it back to the corporations. Think about it...just for a second...they talk of companies "too big to fail" and yet where I come from any company so deeply rooted into any one facet of commerce was called a monopoly. There are already laws for that!

People of America...take back your country!!!
